The holiday market is a unique event for casinos and restaurants in the area, Celli said. She estimates between 2,000 and 2,500 attendees came out for each of the night markets last winter. The casino will also host the Downtown Greensburg Project’s winter night markets in January, February and March, said Dorothy Celli, the casino’s food and beverage marketing manager. She hopes for a strong turnout by hosting it indoors this year. The holiday market has been held outside in past years, Hickey said, but poor weather often deterred visitors. In addition to the holiday market, it hosts a monthly night market, which started in 2019, and an annual Craft Beer Week. The Downtown Greensburg Project opened eight years ago to promote businesses in the Greensburg area, Hickey said. Attendees can also purchase holiday food and beverage specials at the Sports and Social Steel City restaurant and PBR Pittsburgh bar. Vendors will be set up in the Venue Live, the casino’s event space.
